What does this include?

Vevang Sites builds your excavation website and ranks it in local search. We write separate pages for land clearing, grading, drainage and trenching, add service-area pages for the towns you haul to, keep the site technically clean, and improve it weekly with SEO Ranker. Book a 15-minute call and we build a demo first.

Why it matters

Why it’s different for your trade.

01

Dirt work is not one search

A lot owner searching for site prep and a homeowner searching for a wet backyard fix are two different people with two different budgets. One page that says "excavation services" competes for neither. Separate pages let each search land on the answer it wanted.

02

Builders vet you before they dial

A builder looking for a sub wants to see your machines, your insurance, and jobs that look like theirs. If that is buried in a contact form, they keep scrolling. A page built for builders gets you on the shortlist for the whole subdivision.

03

Small drainage jobs open big ones

A French drain call often turns into regrading, a driveway cut-in, or the next project on that property. Ranking for storm-season drainage searches puts you in front of homeowners who will need heavier equipment later.

What we do

The work, step by step.

01

We learn your machines and your limits

What you run, what you can move, how far you haul, and which jobs you actually want. A mini excavator operation and a fleet with a dozer and tandem dumps should not be chasing the same searches.

02

A page for every dirt service

Land clearing, grading and site prep, drainage and French drains, foundation and basement excavation, utility trenching, driveway cut-in, pond work, demolition and haul-off. Each page explains the process, what affects the price, and what you need to see before bidding.

03

Service-area pages by haul distance

Real pages for the towns and counties you actually work, written with local detail like soil conditions, permit offices and typical lot sizes. Not the same paragraph with the town name swapped, which search engines ignore anyway.

04

Proof that survives a builder's check

Before and after galleries with the site conditions explained, an equipment list, and plain notes on insurance, utility locates and permits. We build the bid request to ask about acreage, access, slope and haul-off so you can price before you drive out.

05

Technical health and call tracking

Fast pages on phones, clean structure search engines can read, internal links from drainage to grading to site prep, and tracking on calls and bid forms so you can see which service pages bring the work.

06

Weekly improvements after launch

SEO Ranker reviews the site each week, adds and sharpens content, fixes what slips, and pushes pages that are close to ranking. Search results shift by season, and your site keeps moving with them.

Common mistakes

What usually goes wrong.

Listing services instead of explaining them

A homepage bullet that says "grading" gives a search engine nothing and gives a homeowner nothing. A page that explains why their yard holds water, what regrading involves and how long it takes wins both.

Hiding the equipment list

Builders and lot owners want to know if you can handle their site before they call. No machine list means they assume you cannot. List what you run and note what you can bring in.

Skipping drainage because the jobs are small

Drainage searches spike after every big storm and they come from homeowners with property and money. Passing on that content hands a steady stream of future grading and driveway work to someone else.

One page for the whole region

Claiming a 60-mile radius on a single page rarely ranks in any of those towns. Build pages for the places you truly serve and be honest about mobilization beyond them.

Checklist

What you can check today.

  • Give land clearing, grading, drainage and trenching their own pages
  • List every machine you run and what it fits through
  • Post before and after photos with the site conditions described
  • Add a builder page with insurance, capacity and scheduling
  • Write a real page for each town you haul to
  • Ask acreage, access and haul-off on your bid form
  • Explain utility locates and permits in plain words
  • Answer calls during dig hours or return them same day

How it works

You see it first. Then you decide.

You don’t sign anything to see it. Book a time, and your demo is ready before we talk.

  1. 01

    Book 15 minutes

Pick a time — often the same day. Tell us your website, or just your business name and city.

  2. 02

    We build your demo

Before the call, we build a demo of your new website from your real business: your services, your area, your reviews.

  3. 03

    See it, then decide

We walk you through the demo on the call. You see exactly what you’d get before you spend anything.

  4. 04

    Launch, then improve weekly

We build it for real and put it live. After launch, the SEO Ranker agent keeps improving it every week.

Questions

Straight answers.

How long before SEO brings in excavation work?

Usually a few months before pages gain traction, longer in competitive metros. Service-area pages for smaller towns often move first. No one can guarantee rankings. What we control is publishing the right pages, keeping the site technically sound, and improving it every week so progress compounds instead of stalling after launch.

Should I put prices on my site?

Rarely a flat number, since acreage, access, soil, rock and haul-off change everything. Explain what drives cost instead: distance to dump, tree size and density, slope, utility locates, and whether you can get a machine into the backyard. That builds trust and filters out callers you would never bid anyway.

How do I get in front of builders, not just homeowners?

Build a page written for builders and remodelers. Show your equipment, insurance, crew size and how far ahead you book, and include jobs that look like theirs. Builders line up subs before building season, so that page should be live and ranking well before the ground thaws.

Do photos of dirt actually help?

Yes, when they are captioned. A muddy lot means nothing alone. A before and after with the acreage, what was cleared, the grade you established and the time on site tells both a buyer and a search engine exactly what you do. We build the gallery so each project is its own piece of content.

What about septic, ponds or demolition if I only do them sometimes?

If you want the work, the page should exist. Those searches have low volume and low competition, which makes them easier to rank for and easier to win. If you would turn the job down, we leave it off rather than pulling in calls you do not want.

Does my Google Business Profile matter as much as the website?

They work together. The profile wins map searches near your yard; the website carries service pages and the towns farther out. We manage the profile, keep categories and services accurate, request reviews after jobs and reply to them, and link it all back to the matching page on your site.

Will this help when people ask AI assistants for an excavator?

We write pages so assistants can read them clearly: plain descriptions of each service, your service area, equipment, licensing and how you bid. That gives these tools accurate information to work from. No one can promise any assistant will mention your company, and anyone who does is guessing.

What happens on the 15-minute call?

We build a demo of your site before we talk, using your real services and service area. You see it, tell us what is wrong, and ask whatever you want about how the SEO work runs. No prep needed on your end beyond knowing which jobs you want more of.
