Google Business Profile for Towing Companies

The driver on the shoulder opens the map before they open a website. Your profile decides whether your truck gets that call or the next one down the list does.

What does this include?

Your Google Business Profile is the listing a stranded driver taps first. Vevang Sites sets yours up and maintains it: categories, towing services, service radius, 24-hour settings, truck photos, posts and Q&A, all matched to the pages on your site so the map and the site say the same thing.

Why it matters

Why it’s different for your trade.

01

The map is your dispatch queue

A driver with a dead battery in a parking lot does not read websites. They open the map, look at the top few towing listings, and tap call. If your profile is thin or unverified, you are not in that short list.

02

It answers the questions that stall a call

How far do you come, do you take cards, do you have a flatbed, are you open right now. When the profile answers those before the call, the driver dials with confidence instead of scrolling to compare three more companies.

03

It works the hours you actually work

Most of your money moves after dark, on ice, and on holiday weekends. A profile set to 24 hours with a dispatch line that gets answered puts you in front of people at exactly the moment nobody else is picking up.

What we do

The work, step by step.

01

Claim, verify and clean the name

We verify the listing and set the business name to your real name only. Then we look for old duplicates from a prior owner, a closed yard or a second phone line, and get them merged or removed so your reviews sit in one place.

02

Set categories that match how you get called

Towing service usually leads. We add secondary categories that fit what you actually run, such as roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, auto wrecker or motorcycle towing, and drop any category you cannot dispatch a truck for tonight.

03

Define the address, radius and hours honestly

If your lot is staffed for vehicle releases, we show it with release hours. If you dispatch from home, we hide the address and set a service area. Hours match your dispatch reality, including 24 hours when someone truly answers.

04

Load photos of trucks, not logos

We add your flatbed, wrecker and heavy-duty units, a winch-out in progress, the yard entrance and your drivers in uniform. Night shots matter here, because the person calling wants to picture who is pulling up behind them on a dark shoulder.

05

Connect the profile to matching site pages

Each service on the profile links to a real page: jump-starts, winch-outs, accident towing, long-distance, fleet accounts. We add call tracking so you can see which tows came from the map, and keep the number and hours identical on both.

06

Keep it active week after week

Our SEO Ranker agent posts seasonal updates like winter recovery and dead-battery service, answers new questions, adds fresh photos, and flags edits Google applies on its own. Review requests go out after tows and replies get written for you.

Common mistakes

What usually goes wrong.

Stuffing the name with towing keywords

Adding 24 hour, cheap tow or a city to your business name invites edits, competitor reports and suspension. The name field is for the name painted on the truck. Keywords belong in categories, services and your site pages.

Publishing the impound yard as a walk-in address

If the yard is fenced and unstaffed, showing it as a visitable location sends angry drivers to a locked gate and risks the listing. Either staff it with posted release hours or run as a service area business.

Saying open 24 hours with nobody on the line

The 24-hour setting brings you 2am calls. If those ring out, the caller taps the next listing and leaves a one-star review about the company that never answered. Set hours you can cover, then extend when you add coverage.

Going quiet between storms

A profile with three photos from years ago and no answered questions looks like a company that may not exist anymore. Steady posts, new truck photos and replies to reviews keep it looking like a running operation.

How it works

You see it first. Then you decide.

You don’t sign anything to see it. Book a time, and your demo is ready before we talk.

  1. 01

    Book 15 minutes

Pick a time — often the same day. Tell us your website, or just your business name and city.

  2. 02

    We build your demo

Before the call, we build a demo of your new website from your real business: your services, your area, your reviews.

  3. 03

    See it, then decide

We walk you through the demo on the call. You see exactly what you’d get before you spend anything.

  4. 04

    Launch, then improve weekly

We build it for real and put it live. After launch, the SEO Ranker agent keeps improving it every week.

Questions

Straight answers.

Should I show my address or hide it?

It depends on whether people come to you. If your lot is staffed and drivers pick up stored vehicles there, show the address with clear release hours. If you dispatch trucks from a home or an unstaffed yard, hide the address and set a service area covering the roads and towns you actually run.

How wide should my service area be?

Set it to where you will send a truck at 3am without complaining, usually your counties and the highway corridors you cover. A huge radius does not make you show up farther away in the map, and it brings calls you have to turn down, which wastes dispatch time.

Can I really set the profile to 24 hours?

Only if a person answers at any hour. The 24-hour setting is one of the strongest signals you can send in this trade, but it also invites the calls nobody else takes. If overnight is hit or miss, post honest hours now and widen them once coverage is solid.

Should I put a tracking number on the profile?

Yes, when it forwards to your dispatch line and rings through instantly. We set a tracked number as the primary and keep your main dispatch line listed as an additional number. That way you can see how many tows started on the map without breaking anything for the caller.

What should I write in Q&A?

The questions dispatch answers every day. Do you take cards on scene, what does storage cost per day, what documents release a vehicle, can you tow an all-wheel-drive car, do you handle motorcycles, do you work with motor clubs and insurers. Post them and answer them plainly from the business account.

A driver left a bad review over an impound fee. Now what?

Reply publicly, once, in a calm voice. State that the tow was police directed or property requested, explain how release and fees work, and give the phone number to sort it out. Future readers are judging your tone, not who was right. Never ask for or reward positive reviews.

Will this get me to the top of the map?

Nobody can guarantee a map position, and anyone promising one is selling you something. What we control is a complete, verified, active profile that matches your site and your real coverage. That is what gives you a fair shot when someone nearby searches for a tow truck.

What do I get before I commit anything?

Book a 15-minute call and we build a demo of your towing site first, so you see real pages for emergency tows, winch-outs, battery service and fleet accounts with your own service area on them. On the call we go through your current profile and what is holding it back.
