SEO for roofers who want storm-week calls

Your roofing site should rank for the leak at 7am, the hail claim in June and the replacement someone plans all fall. We build the pages and work them every week.

What does this include?

Vevang Sites builds your roofing website, then works the search side every week: service pages for replacement, repair, hail damage and insurance help, pages for the towns you actually shingle, clean technical structure and internal links. Our SEO Ranker agent improves the site weekly. Rankings can't be guaranteed; the work is steady.

Why it matters

Why it’s different for your trade.

01

Roofing searches split three ways

A drip in the attic, a hail claim and a full replacement are three different searches with three different buyers. One page about roofing answers none of them well. Separate pages let each search land on the answer it wanted.

02

Storm weeks reward whoever is already ranked

After a hail night, searches for damage inspections spike for a few days. You cannot build ranking that morning. The pages have to be live, indexed and linked before the weather hits so you show up while phones are ringing.

03

Replacement buyers read before they call

A new roof is one of the largest checks a homeowner writes. They compare shingles against metal, read about underlayment and ventilation, and check financing. Pages that answer those questions get you shortlisted before anyone picks up the phone.

What we do

The work, step by step.

01

See what roofing terms you already hold

We check which pages Google shows for your company, which towns you appear in, and where you are invisible. Usually repair and insurance searches are wide open while everyone fights over the main roofing term.

02

Build a page per job, not per company

Roof replacement, roof repair, storm and hail damage, emergency tarping, free inspection, gutters and ventilation each get their own page. Material pages for asphalt, metal and flat roofs get written in your words, not the manufacturer's boilerplate.

03

Cover the towns you actually shingle

Each service-area page names real neighborhoods, common roof ages and styles there, and jobs you have finished nearby. We skip towns you would not drive to, because thin pages for places you never work help nobody.

04

Answer the insurance question directly

Homeowners want to know whether damage is covered, what an adjuster looks for, and whether you meet them on the roof. A clear claim-help page pulls in searches your competitors leave to chance, and it calms the skeptical caller.

05

Fix the technical side and track the calls

Fast loading on a phone in a driveway, clean headings, indexed pages, internal links from material pages to inspection requests, and call and form tracking so you know which storm page actually produced the appointment.

06

Improve it every week with SEO Ranker

After launch our agent keeps working: tightening pages, adding project photos and content, pushing storm and insurance pages forward after severe weather, and moving replacement and financing pages up when homeowners start planning.

Common mistakes

What usually goes wrong.

One services page for every roof job

Repair, replacement, tarping and insurance help crammed onto a single page means none of them rank. Search engines cannot tell what the page is about, and the homeowner with a leak has to hunt for their answer.

Letting the storm page go stale

A hail page written three years ago that never mentions recent weather, current claim steps or new photos loses to the company updating theirs. Storm content needs attention right after the storm, not once a year.

Copying shingle manufacturer text

Pasting product descriptions onto your metal or architectural shingle pages gives you the same words as hundreds of other roofers. Write what you install, why you pick it for local weather, and what it costs a homeowner in time.

Service-area pages that list forty towns

A page naming every suburb within a hundred miles, with the town swapped in and nothing else changed, reads as filler. Build pages for the areas you drive to, with jobs and roof types from those streets.

Checklist

What you can check today.

  • Give roof repair and roof replacement separate pages.
  • Write a storm and hail page you update after weather.
  • Explain the insurance claim process in plain language.
  • Add before-and-after photos with the town named.
  • Make the inspection request work with one thumb.
  • Build area pages only for towns you truly serve.
  • Put your license, insurance and warranty on every service page.
  • Answer financing questions on their own page.

Questions

Straight answers.

How long before SEO changes my call volume?

New and rewritten pages usually need weeks to be crawled, indexed and settle into position, and competitive replacement terms take longer than repair or tarping terms. Nobody can guarantee rankings or a date. What we control is steady weekly work: more pages, better structure, fresher storm content, and tracking that shows which pages produce calls.

Do I need a page for every town I serve?

For every town you genuinely work in, yes. Each page should name neighborhoods, typical roof ages and materials there, and jobs you finished nearby. Skip towns you would not send a crew to. Thin pages built only to list place names do not help homeowners and rarely earn a position worth having.

How do you handle a storm that just hit?

Your storm and hail damage page moves to the front of the site and gets updated with the current event, what damage looks like on local roof types, and how to request an inspection. Emergency tarping gets an obvious path. Weekly work means the page is already indexed before the next system arrives.

Should I write a blog?

Only if the posts answer real roofing questions. Pieces about reading an adjuster's report, signs a twenty-year roof is done, or ventilation problems in older homes earn searches and link back to your service pages. Generic seasonal filler about home maintenance does nothing for a roofing company.

Is SEO better than paying for ads?

They do different jobs. Ads turn on the day a storm hits and stop when you pause them. SEO builds pages that keep showing up for leak, inspection and replacement searches between storms. We can run local ads billed to your card alongside the SEO work if you want both.

Does my Google Business Profile matter too?

Yes. Map results and your website support each other. We manage the profile, keep categories and service lists accurate, send review requests, reply to reviews, and link profile services to the matching pages on your site so the roof repair search and the roof repair page line up.

What about people asking AI assistants for a roofer?

Assistants read the same pages homeowners do. Clear service pages, consistent name and address details, plainly stated service areas and real project descriptions make your business easier to summarize accurately. No one can promise an assistant will name you, but vague sites are far easier to skip.

What happens on the 15-minute call?

We build a demo of your roofing site before we talk, so you are looking at real pages instead of a pitch deck. We go through which searches you are missing, which service and area pages you need first, and what weekly work would look like. Book a call.
