What should my primary category be?
Pressure washing service in almost every case. Add secondary categories only for work you genuinely sell and want calls about, such as roof cleaning or window cleaning. Extra unrelated categories dilute the listing and bring in calls you do not want. Your services list is where you spell out house washing, decks, concrete and gutter brightening.
Should I show my home address?
No. If you meet customers at their property rather than yours, set the profile as a service area business and hide the address. Then list the towns and neighborhoods you actually drive to. Listing forty towns to look bigger tends to backfire, because the listing gets shown in places you will not book anyway.
How many photos do I need?
Enough to cover every surface you sell, with pairs rather than singles. Siding, roof, driveway, walkway, deck, fence, patio. Shoot the before from the spot you will stand for the after. Add your truck and rig so a homeowner recognizes who is pulling up, and refresh photos through the season.
Can you guarantee I show up in the map pack?
No, and nobody honestly can. Map rankings move with distance, competition and how Google reads your listing that week. What we control is doing the work properly: correct categories, complete services, real photos, steady posts, consistent details between profile and site, and weekly improvements instead of a one-time setup.
How do I get more reviews?
Ask every customer, not a chosen few, and ask right after they see the finished driveway or siding. That moment is when they are most likely to write something specific. We send the request and help you reply to what comes in, good or bad. Never offer anything in exchange for a review.
Do posts actually matter?
They keep the listing current and give you a place to say what is happening now. Spring booking is open. HOA letters handled this week. Commercial lots cleaned after hours. Pre-listing washes for agents. A profile that has said nothing since last summer reads as a business that may not answer the phone.
What about questions on my listing?
The Q&A section is public and anyone can answer it, so it is worth filling in yourself. Cover soft washing versus high pressure, whether roof cleaning harms shingles, how plants and landscaping are protected, and how long a house wash lasts. Those are the questions that stop a homeowner from calling.
What happens before our call?
We build a demo of your new site first, using your service area, your surfaces and your photos where we have them. On the call you look at something real instead of a slide deck, and we go over your current profile and what is missing. Fifteen minutes is usually enough.
