Eric Vevang is an entrepreneur and the founder of Vevang AI. He was born in Arlington, Virginia, in 1985, built his first company during the 2008 recession, and has sold two service businesses: Atlanta Sod Company in 2019, and LocalSodFarm.com, acquired in January 2024.
He lives in Sandpoint, Idaho, with his wife Sara and their four children. In 2026 he started this project to trace the Vevang name from his father Gary, his grandfather Gordon and his great-grandfather Engwal back to the farm in Norway.
